Pre-Owned Merchandise Disclosure — FYTP Watches

In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act and applicable state consumer protection laws, FYTP LLC provides the following disclosures regarding the pre-owned merchandise sold through this website and through our other sales channels.
Pre-Owned Status
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all watches and timepieces sold by FYTP LLC are pre-owned (used) merchandise. They are not new and have had previous owners. Each listing includes a condition description (such as Excellent, Very Good, or Good) reflecting the watch’s current cosmetic and mechanical state based on our inspection.
No Manufacturer Warranty
Pre-owned watches sold by FYTP LLC are not covered by any manufacturer warranty from Rolex, Omega, Cartier, or any other watch brand. Any original manufacturer warranty that may have accompanied the watch at the time of its original purchase has expired or is non-transferable, as is standard for pre-owned luxury timepieces.
Instead, FYTP LLC offers its own 30-Day FYTP Guarantee: if a watch arrives in a materially different condition than described, or if a disclosed defect was not accurately represented, we will make it right — including replacement or refund at our discretion.
Our Authentication Process
When FYTP LLC represents a watch as “authenticated,” this means our team has conducted the following verification steps:
- Serial number verification: We confirm the serial number is present, unaltered, and consistent with the watch’s stated production year and reference number.
- Movement inspection: We inspect the movement (where accessible) for consistency with the genuine manufacturer specifications, including rotor, finish, and engravings.
- Weight and materials check: We verify the watch’s weight and case materials are consistent with genuine examples of the reference.
- Dial and finishing review: We inspect the dial, hands, markers, and case finishing under magnification for consistency with known authentic examples.
- Cross-reference with known fakes: We compare the watch against known counterfeit indicators for that specific reference.
Our authentication is based on visual and physical inspection by experienced watch dealers. We are not a certified Rolex Service Center or an official brand representative. For absolute manufacturer-certified verification, we recommend sending the watch to an authorized service center.
Box and Papers
The availability of original box, warranty card, or papers is disclosed on each listing. Watches sold without box and papers are still authentic unless specifically noted otherwise — many pre-owned watches change hands without their original packaging.
Condition Grading
- Excellent: Minimal to no visible wear. May show light hairlines under strong light. Functions perfectly.
- Very Good: Light wear consistent with normal use. May show minor scratches on case or bracelet. Functions perfectly.
- Good: Noticeable wear, may have scratches or dings. All disclosed in listing. Functions correctly.
Payment and Fraud Disclaimer
FYTP LLC accepts payment via wire transfer, Zelle, and cash (in-person only). We do not accept personal checks. For high-value transactions, we strongly recommend verifying wire transfer details directly by phone before sending funds. FYTP LLC will never change payment details mid-transaction — if you receive a request to send funds to a new account, contact us immediately.
